We had a fantastic time at Salop Gardens today.

Today we had some bananas. However we had a HUGE problem because we didn’t have enough for everyone!

Luckily, we used our knowledge of fractions to share them fairly. 

Our paper plane entries are coming in from the aeroplane designers of the future, but which one will fly the furthest?

There is some debate whether the larger ones will stay up longer because they will catch more air or if the small ones will go the distance because they are lighter. Perhaps narrow ones will fly further because they are more streamline?

We have decided to take different parts off our flowers to see if they will die faster.

We have one with no leaves, one with no flowers, one with no petals and one with no stem.

They are all in water and in sunlight.

Which one do you think will die first? 

We had lots of fun being museum guides at our history museum this morning!

Here are some of our exhibitions – exploring history through the times of the dinosaurs, Ancient Egyptians and Viking Invaders.

After researching, designing and planning, we have created our Viking cam toys.

Today we solved a problem about measuring volume.

After an afternoon of battle, one of our brave Vikings was killed.

A sad end to our day.

At least we buried him with some items he might need to impress Odin. 

We killed a couple more to keep him company.

Beware! Some ferocious Vikings have invaded Bearwood. They are learning how to sail and use their weapons.
