Excitedly we played with toys today in class but we had to do some investigating and not just have fun. We looked at what makes different toys move. We also went on a forces hunt around school.

Today we performed the poem I’m walking with my Iguana. We performed this using actions and musical instruments.

Today we looked at a poem called ‘that’s no word of a lie’ by Jackie Kay and wrote our own lines.

3G then took what they had learnt and made up their own class poem.

Our poem of the week is about a boy called Jim who ran away from his nurse and got eaten by a lion. We are learning this poem a bit at a time as it is a long poem.

Today we journeyed down the River Nile on a raft. We saw towering statues of Egyptian Gods, hieroglyphics and sandstone buildings.
