During our outdoor PE session we will be developing our Cricket skills. Over the last week the media has been full of information about cricket and in particular the Ashes. The Ashes is a test series between England and Australia. The rivalry dates back to 1882. The whole nation is jubilant because for the first time in 24 years the England Cricket team will return from a tour of Australia still in possession of the Ashes. Andrew Strauss (England Captain) will bring a tiny urn back to England. The tiny urn is reputed to contain a burnt cricket ball. Go team England!
