Today we explored how rocks help us learn about dinosaurs. We looked at different fossils. Thank you Jaiden for brining  some in from home to share with your class mates.

In outdoor PE we are developing our tennis skills.

Today we became Soil detectives! Firstly, we used magnifying glasses to find out what is in  soil. Then we had to touch the soil to find out what is made  of. After this we completed a soil information sheet.

Literacy – Next week we are going to become report writers!  We are going to become investigators and look at how we write reports.  We are going to write dinosaur reports…which dinosaur will you pick to research (Not Tyrannosaurus Rex).

Phonics- Make your own phonics library at home.  Pick different books to read this week.  Can you read all the red and green words?

Numeracy – We are going to be learning about shapes!  At home go on a shape treasure hunt.  How many shapes can you find this weekend?  Draw and name the shapes you find.

I just wanted to share with you Jaiden’s brilliant stop motion animation film. He made this film at home with his mom.  I think its amazing and I cant wait to see his Lego movie maker film from university.
