Roald Dhal has been voted `Top Childrens Author` by primary teachers in a online survey. JK Rowling came second in the online survey. The Gruffalo was voted `Best Name` by 848 primary teachers by the teachit primary website. Roald Dhal didn`t top the best book vote but he did have 5 books in the top 10 Charlie And The Chocolate Factory, The Twits, Danny The Champion Of The World, The BFG and George`s Marvellous Medicane.
