Hi there. Sorry for taking long.
I was a busy bee (don’t laugh, it’s true.I actually started buzzing as well!)
You have gone wrong when you…
1. 60,006-34,10=25,905
a)You haven’t put the digits in columns.
b)You haven’t included the comma.
2. 33.70-19.08=26.02
a)When you can’t do 7 takeaway 0,you have to place a 1 by the 7,not a 6,to make it 17.Then you have to cross out 3 and put a 2 beside it.
3. 666,66-77,777=611,111
a)You have taken the bottom digit away from the top digit.
The decimal question is wrong because 6-0 does not equal 0, it equals 6. This mistake, Mr Murphy, would lose you a valuable mark in a test. Also 13-9 is not 6, it is 4. When you are answering the sum in the tens column it would not be 3-1, it would be 2-1 because you exchanged in the units column.
These are silly errors and it would show you don’t understand the standard written method for subtraction.
Mr Murphy, most of the questions are wrong because you have been very lazy and not checked them! In my conclusion, if a SAT’S marker had seen this he would have been disgusted to see this standard written method.

Is this right?
On number one you put the numbers in the wrong colums .

Good going,Sian!
Cool. You’re going to be a teacher when you’re older with that brain of yours :’D
You put the smaller number in the wrong column for the first question.
Number 2 is wrong because you didn’t exchange properly.
Mr M You have subtracted the bottom digit from the top on the last one the answer should be 588,889 not 611,111

I agree Susan!
Sir your answers were wrong and you have been very lazy. Mr Murphy they need to be checked. The decimal question is wrong and you need to check them.
