Electrical Safety, by Amana.

In topic,  we have been learning  how to be safe around electricity.
My top tips for electrical  safety are:
  • never put your fingers in plug sockets.
  • never fly kites near power wires.
  • never wet electric sockets or plugs.
  • always keep liquids (drinks) away from electrical items.
  • never overload an adopter (extension lead) because  this could cause a fire.
  • never play with wires (this could give you a electric shock)

  1. Yes I agree it could be very DANGEROUS but children should defiantly should not be playing with wires and if you have wet hands you should not touch the plug something dangerous could happen! 😮 By:Aiza from year 6

  2. It is true. You should never go anywhere near electricity when you’re hands are wet. Also you shouldn’t put your fingers in sockets because you might not get them out and they will stay in there and it would be painful to get it out. And If you start to play with cut wires then they could shock you, Make you unconsious and even kill you. So don’t think that messing with electricity is just fun because it could be dangerous.

p.s This is a fantastic post Amana. Keep up the good work.
