In Science today we were investigating our tongue. We tasted jam, honey, sugared water, salty water, coffee, lemon juice and salt & vinegar on the four parts of our tongue.
As you can see from the photographs we definitely challenge ourselves but together we identified how we taste using our tongues. Even Mr Daniels had a go and tasted coffee…she called it repugnant. We correctly identified the sweet, sour, salty and bitter areas of our tongues. This will definitely help us to become experts at tasting chocolate.

This lesson wasfun but at the same time challenging. Tasting all those flavors really puts your taste buds to the test. My favorite has to be the sugared wate, I just love that taste. So sweet. My least favoriute was the salty water because that taste I can not stand.
We learn about difference taste sweet,bitter and sour but I like sweet.
