Year 4 can we all share our ideas on the Blog so we can steal from each other? [slideshow]
The chattering travels down the corridors like echoes.
The air breathes through school making our bones icy cold.
The vibrant mushrooms call us to bounce on them.
The corridors twist like a train on a track.
The computers hum like busy bees.
The instruments call us to play them in the hall.

Ooooo! These are going to be good I bet!
Hello! We started to go round our school to look for things to make similes and metaphors for, I’ll give and example of a simile then a metaphor. (Not at school) ‘My DS was like double the size of a mouse’s body!’ ‘My tea spoons are 10 flys without wings’ you might go :S at metaphor if you were a child that never learnt it!!! (Most teachers obviously know it)
I think that when we went round the school looking for similes and metaphores are really going to help me remember plus there in are classroom right on the wall where everyone can see it!
The letter was as light as a feather.
Here is a similie:

I enjoyed It because I was able to make similes and metaphors of things in the school, I was in a group so more was on the paper. I was the first one to think of a metaphor when my group swaped with the other group that were in the class. But I let Zuzzana say it out load, my metaphor was, ‘Diplodocus’s tail was a mazzive rope’
The gust of air drifts past us.
