In school council we have discussed things to talk about in the future and here is a list of what they are

buddies ,longer playtime in the afternoon, pizza day two times a week, make the school a better place, class pets, more after school clubs, children being teachers day, pyjama day, more greenery, teacher assistants, more P.E time, new stationary, more equipment and lunch clubs.

This week we will be talking about: Class pets.

We would like suggestions about what pets we should get for our classes besides big animals like cats and dogs. Please tell your class councillors if anyone has an allergy to any animal.

School council got off to a flying start at their first meeting of the year, on Friday 20th September.

They appointed: a chairperson : Arianne, a vice- chair: Rahzhane and a secretary: Aydin. These 3 students will organise and run the meetings from now on.

They chose their preferred badge and they have now been ordered by the office.

They discussed and decided on how they should behave during school council meetings:

1. Listen to others
2. Let people talk
3. Everyone to be included
4. Always safe and sensible

For the next meeting they are going to ask their class what they think needs talking about and design this year’s school council logo.

The next meeting will be Friday 27th September at 1:30 p.m.
