Thank you to all dads, grandads, uncles etc that joined us for our Fudge event. It was so lovely to see so many of you there, and to watch you having so much fun with your child. The activities were based around the text Jack and the Beanstalk. These included making puppets to resell the story, using construction to build a beanstalk, planting seeds, writing about the story, collaging giant objects etc. We hope you had as much fun as us!

Next week our text will be “Jack and the Beanstalk.”  Our FUDGE event next Friday will also be based on this book.  We are looking forward to seeing as many Fathers, Uncles, Dads and Grandads as possible!!

We have been acting out the story of the Three Billy Goats Gruff.

Next week we shall be focusing on the story: “The Three Billy Goats Gruff.”  Watch this story with your child.  Who are the characters in the story?  Why do they want to cross the bridge?  Who lives under the bridge?  What does the troll say?  How do they feel when they reach the other side?
