We all had fun at our Christmas Party and enjoyed singing and playing games! All of the Reception children and staff would like to say ‘Merry Christmas’ and a ‘Happy New Year .’
School starts back on 5th January 2015!

We have been learning about the Nativity story and some children used the masks to re-tell it to their friends!

Well done to all of the Reception children! You were all brilliant in both performances of ‘Shine Star Shine’ and thank you to everyone who came to watch. We have also been busy making cards and calendars and having lots of fun with our Christmas activities!

We had a lovely time at the library! Thank you to all of the parents/carers who helped us!

Thus week we have been looking at objects which are heavy and light! We have used scales to compare weight! We have had lots of fun!

This week we have been reading the book ‘Pass the jam Jim’ we have been thinking about parties and birthday celebrations. We have made birthday hats, invitations and birthday cards.

We have been using different techniques to make Autumn art this week!!!

The children have had great fun dressing up as their favourite hero to raise money for children in need !

This week we have been thinking about the changes which take place during the season of Autumn! We have observed leaves and used our observational skills to draw what we see! We have also sorted clothes into what we wear in Autumn and Summer. Encourage your child to look for signs of Autumn when you’re out and about!!
