Gruffalo Music!

This week we have been focusing on the book “The Gruffalo.” We spoke about the different animals that are in the book; fox, mouse, owl and snake. We had to represent these animals using a range of instruments, beginning by experimenting with them. We then had to talk about why we thought the instrument represented our chosen animal, recognising how we could change or improve the sound.
One child used the tamborine to represent the Gruffalo, beating it slowly and loudly to show how “the Gruffalo stomps through the trees.”
