As a real treat for the end of term, the Animal Lady came in to see us. She brought in a vast array of animals; hedgehog, chinchilla, bearded dragon lizard and a burrow owl. The children all really enjoyed the experience of talking about the different animals, and having the opportunity to touch them too!

It’s Christmas Time!
We have had a lovely week celebrating Christmas doing lots of creative activities; making Christmas cards and holly wreaths to take home. We really enjoyed our Christmas party and even had a surpise visit from Santa and his reindeers! Have a lovely Christmas holidays!
How to make mince pies
This is a great time of year for you to spend time with your child, making and creating together. Make some mince pies with your child. Talk about how the mixture looks and feels. Do they like the taste?
Library Visit
Thank you to all the parents who joined us on our library visit. Your constant support is greatly appreciated. It was lovely watching you share stories with your child. Long may it continue!
Shine Star Shine
We have all been working really hard practising for our Christmas Nativity Play learning our songs and reciting our lines. It is very important if your child has been given a speaking role in the play that they are practising this daily. Make sure you have filled in and brought back the “Shine Star Shine” ticket forms so we are aware of how many tickets are needed per child. Thank you very much and look forward to seeing you at the performance!
St Andrew’s Day- Scotland
We have had lots of fun already this week learning about Scotland. We have been designing our own Loch Ness Monsters, making shortbread, trying on traditional Scottish clothing, doing Scottish dancing and weaving tartan patterns!
P.E
Last week in P.E we were working in partners to create a mirror effect. One child would complete a series of actions and the other child had to look carefully and copy their movements. We had lots of fun!
