This week reception have been reading the storybook ‘peace at last’ so we decided to link the story to our forest school session. The story is about lots of different sounds that you might hear at night around your home, so we listened to all the different sounds in the forest. Children were then blindfolded on the field and had to use their listening sense to follow the sound of instruments being played by Miss Coleman. We had lots of fun and moved very carefully to the sounds we could hear.
