Thank you to all families who joined us for Family Forest this morning. Parents, teachers and children alike all had a great time. Children were offered the opportunity to create nature pictures, make stick men, build a den and go on a nature hunt. Class RA will be doing this on Wednesday, and we are already excited!
KS1 had a lovely afternoon in the sunshine creating natural art. First of all they had to find four sticks about the same length to make their frames and then they needed to use their resourcefulness power to find the right natural materials to create their picture.
This week KS1 got messy and made some beautiful mud sculptures.
This week KS2 discussed which out of the four R’s they would need to use to create a group shelter. Between them they decided they would need to use their relationship power to work in a team, their resourcefulness power to select the right materials and their resilience power to persist with the activity. KS2 worked really hard to ensure they used the R’s to complete their shelter. Well Done!
