Year: 2018
Year 2 and 3
Our new Forest School group have been really creative this week. We have spent some time creating beautiful natural pictures in the forest using the autumn leaves, sticks and rocks. We discussed what natural resources are and each child took their turn to tell the rest of the group what their picture was of. We ended the session playing a team building game on the field. Well done this group!
Forest School Fire and Food Week
This week Reception and Key Stage 1 have enjoyed their last week at Forest School cooking on a campfire. We talked about lighting and maintaining a small fire safely. We also recapped all the rules to keep ourself safe and talked about our favourite parts of Forest School this year. Well done to all of the groups this half term you have been amazing and you’ve learnt lots of new outdoor skills.

This week at Forest School Reception met Rosie Bear, who is our forest friend that loves meeting new children and playing with them in her forest. All of the children introduced themselves to Rosie by telling them their name. Rosie had a lovely time playing with you all in her forest, she can’t wait for you to come back next week!
