This week we have been learning 5 currant buns in a baker’s shop. Have a listen at home and sing it together.

This week in nursery we have been finding out about Chinese New Year. The children heard a story about how each year got its name. This year is the year of the Rooster.
The children have enjoyed lots of activities. They have had the chance to try Chinese food, make a dragon mask for their dragon dance, make paper chain dragons, firework pictures and lots more.

It has been lovely to see parents joining us in Nursery over the last two weeks.

The children have enjoyed using the construction toys over the last two weeks. We have been thinking about making a home for the Mermaid in our story last week.
The children in Nursery have also enjoyed playing fishing games.

Since coming back after Christmas we have been looking at books all about water. We have looked at The Rainbow Fish, The Singing Mermaid and this week our book has been Sharing a Shell.
