Get Talking, Get Learning 5.11.10
English: We will be creating typical pantomime characters and settings next week. Please create a new character for a pantomime.
Also remember that the best writers are readers, so get reading.
Numeracy: Next week we will be doing division using larger numbers, so we will be using the chunking method. Are you still a chunky monkey? Can you remember the rap? Can you write the steps to success for chunking?
Also you will need to know your times tables so if you still have a couple to learn, get them learnt ready for next week.
Topic:
Next week we will be looking at light and shadows and how we see.
Mind map what you already know in preparation for next weeks learning.
Thinking about light and how we see
Next week in topic we will be researching light and exploring how shadows are formed.
Have a look at this shadow puppet show, how are the images made visible on the screen? Could we do something like this?
