Last half term Year 2’s topic was Come Dine With Me.  During this topic they learnt about different types of food and what country the food came from.  The main focus was Italy and China, this lead to parents coming in for a Come Dine With Me experience.  The children decorated the hall, baked some cakes and designed and cooked their own pizzas.  The children also taught the parents how to make Chinese lanterns. In Science Year 2 have been looking at different types of foods. They had to talk about whether they were unhealthy or healthy foods, they then conducted an experiment to see what the difference was  between unhealthy and healthy foods. What has happened to the food?
