Last week we visited Birmingham Mac to watch ‘Kipper’s Snowy Day’. The children had a wonderful time. It was lovely to see all the things they enjoyed in their homework this morning .

Today we explored further the life of Guy Fawkes through drama. We visited York, Spain and London!
Bonfire Night
Here are a few pictures from our bonfire at Calthorpe Haven. We enjoyed listening to the sounds the fire made and the smell. The hot chocolate was delicious!

Today we went back in time to the night that Guy Fawkes tried to carry out the gunpowder plot. We joined in with role play then asked lots of thoughtful questions about the Gunpowder plot.

We had lots of fun learning about the Great Fire of London at Year 2s museum this week.
Thimble Mill Library
Last week Year 1 enjoyed their first library visit of the year. We heard a funny story about a school of monsters and got to choose some books to bring back to school for class reader.
Habitat Dioramas
This week we have been hard at work using our design skills. Over this half term we have learnt about animals from different continents -including their diets and environment. We used this knowledge to design and begin to create dioramas. Watch this space to see our finished products!
