We read the story and all joined in saying the rhyme Run run as fast as you can you can’t catch me I’m the Gingerbread Man.
All the children had fun making Gingerbread and then cutting out a Gingerbread man. When they were cooked the children decorated them using icing. We hope they all enjoyed eating them at home.

Goldilocks
This half term we have been looking at different fairy stories and traditional tales. We read the story Goldilocks and have done lots of activities about the characters.
We had a tray full of porridge oats which we used to empty and fill different sized bowls. We pretended to be Goldilocks eating all the porridge and we fed the three bears. We even wrote letters in the oats.
Some children made porridge and then had their own bowl to try.
The hungry caterpillar
Last week we read the story ‘The very hungry caterpillar.
We have had lots of fun making caterpillars with our moms and dads.
“>
We have also been very creative making butterfly pictures and printing circles using paint to make long caterpillars.
We have been watching the caterpillars in our classroom getting very big.
