Reception braved the elements to do some mark making with mud. Firstly, we mixed water and soil together to make mud. Some of us had to work hard to get the right consistency. After that we explored the woodland making marks and patterns on different objects.

Getting Knotted!
In Outdoor Education we learnt how to tie a reef, clove hitch and a lashing in preparation for building our dens next week.
Flags
We made wind flags. We cut out flags from old pillowcases and attached to a stick using string. After that we painted them and took them from a run on the field.
Leaf Kebab
We explored the different shaped and coloured leaves.
Texture Hunt
At Forest School we explored all the various textures on the different tree trunks. We used some wonderful words to describe what we felt.
