Buildings of the Future

In the first week we researched different architects like Santiago Calatrava and his buildings. Each group picked a building idea and created a plan. We looked at form, function and style. Form means the shape. Function is the purpose and how it would be used. Style is the architectual features they would like to include. Using a range a resources the children bring their plan into life and create their buildings of the future. You can see some examples from Autumn 2. Jaiden, Sabah and Vanita created a Cinema Hotel called J.V.S. We voted and this was the building of the future for this half term because it had never been build before!
