Singers Hill Synagogue

Today we went to Singers Hill Synagogue where we were taken around and were informed all about the Jewish faith. The lady that showed us around was very kind and was an expert on her religion.

During our trip we dressed up in pieces of clothing that people use to pray. They were called tallits.

We were told the important features of every Synagogue when we were in a small prayer room and had to look for them once we went into the main prayer room. We were told the meaning of the decorations all around the Synagogue and on the Torah. The lady told us how Jewish people pray and what they believe which we can use to help us in our RE lessons.

This trip was very interesting and We enjoyed looking around the Synagogue.
