Have a look at this poem by two children aged 8 and 11.
Can you upload your own poem about fire safety? I’d love to read them.
Thanks – Mr M!
Next week we will be learning all about reflection, rotation and translation.

Hi everyone!
Thanks for all of your hard work this week with multiplication. Why not test yourself using the strategies you have learnt over the weekend.
Use these videos to remind yourself of the strategies.
Have a good weekend!
If you were King or Queen, what rules would you make? Would you only be a King/Queen who rules this country? What outfits would you wear? What would your crown look like? I’d love to been Queen someday.
Instructions if there is a fire:
Shortly, a fire engine would come if you follow these instructions.

Dear Mrs Homer,
I am writing to ask you a question. My question is instead of buying normal tea and coffee could you buy fairtrade tea and coffee? It helps children all over the world with their education. Shockingly, children die with diseases and poverty. If you buy fairtrade tea and coffee you can help a lot of people in the world. If you don’t buy fairtrade tea and coffee you would kill a lot of people. Would you do that to people?
In my opinion, you should buy fairtrade tea and coffee because it will give all the farmers a fair deal. There are children living in poverty and they don’t have enough food and water.
Tea workers in Uganda work 12 – 14 hours a day. Despite their long working hours, workers cannot afford to give their families enough food. Imagine if you were them.
85% of sugar farmer families run out of food and are left with nothing to eat at least once a year. These people risk their lives just for food and water.
Please buy fairtarde, it’ll mean a lot to them and it will also help them.
Yours sincerely,
Ibraheem Zaman.

Dear Mrs Homer,
I am writing to ask you a question. Can you buy fairtrade coffee and tea? Shockingly, if you don’t buy fairtrade, citizens in the world would catch diseases like yellow fever, chlorea and others. But if you buy fairtrade, you can change that. You can give the children education. If you don’t buy fairtrade, they’ll be living in poverty.
In my opinion, you should buy fairtrade because people are living in poverty. If you buy fairtrade, people wouldn’t be living in poverty.
Tea workers in Uganda work 12-14 hours a day. Despite their long working hours, workers cannot afford to give their families enough food. Imagine if you were them.
However, 85% of sugar farmer’s families run out of food. They’re left with nothing to eat. These people risk their lives getting us sugar.
Please buy fairtrade, it’ll mean a lot to them. Imagine if you were them. Would you find a place in your heart?
Yours Sincerely,
Aryan Sharma!
