Calculator skills

Calculator skills

This week we have been learning how to use a calculator in maths so that we can easily use a calculator when they are using a calculator anytime, we understand which buttons to press to do the calculation correctly.
I started of doing fraction games since I knew how to save a calculation in the memory, clearing the things on a calculator, knowing how to clear the calculation without removing the memory if you have set something to the memory.
In the fraction game you had to partner 1 had to write 5 different fractions on the board and the other partner had to convert them into decimals and write them into their book. And after that you had to swap it around and the winner was the one with 50 points(you got one point per each decimal you converted) the fractions I had got were three fifths, one tenth, two ninths, two sixths and two thirds. After you had completed the fraction game by scoring fifty points you had to move on.
