In year 4 we have been learning about film making. As you will have read on the blog we have set up a film production company.
There are 3 stages to making a film. Pre-production, production and post-production.
we are on pre-productoin stage now. We are making storyboards for our films and writing playscripts. Also we have made film reviews for films to help us spot what are good features to include. In pre-production we are also going to be making the props and costumes. We will also need to cast the actors for the films and choose the settings.
After all of this hard work is done we can enter production. Here we will film the movies using camera and a green screen. We have already learned how the green screen works.
Finally we will enter pst-production where we will edit the films and share them with everybody.
We can’t wait until the films are ready but we know there is still a lot of work to do before then!

i raelly loved learning with dom about how to use a green screen i really enjoyed it and i am enjoying it

I’m learning so much about film making. I’m getting really excited as we move through the stages to the production & screening!
i learnt a lot about using the green screen i learnt how to put the lights up when dom taught us. i have learnt a lot i didunt know there was a blue screen, white screen, and a white sreen. i cant belive we are really going to make a film. i enjoy making the play scripts. it was so amazing:)
I learnt a lot about films when dom came in and I enjoyed learning about technology Idid not know that you needed a screen to make a film 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂

Predadom production company- Mrs Griffiths and I are so impressed with your progress on these films so far. Keep up the hard work! We are learning a great deal about film production too and I can’t wait to get in front of the green screen!
