The magic box by Donald

I will put in the box

A giant flame trying to burn someone

A lovely slice of cake running away

A freshly made pancake with squirty cream

I will put in the box

The twinkle of the stars in the night sky

People singing songs about burgers and burritos

The taste of a milky milkshake

I will put in the box

A waffle going into space

People building a church while singing

The waves of the sea

My box is made of diamonds and there are tons of rubies on the lid. In the corners there are emeralds. It’s hinges are made out of titanium. I shall drop everything in the box. On the coldest day of the year then relax inside by the fire the colour of an orange.

The End

The sound collector

The sound collector

A stranger came to Egypt

dressed all in black and grey

put every sound into a bag

and carried them away

The thundering of the gods

The swaying of the Nile

The howling of the jackal

The snapping of the crocodile .

The cracking of the pyramid walls

The snoring of the priest

The crashing of the battle

The munching of the feast.

A stranger came to Egypt

he didn’t leave his name

left us only in silence

life will never be the same.
