Welcome to a new school year.

School council met, for the first time this year, on Friday.

The councillors discussed their role and agreed that they would:

1. Be the spokesperson for their class.

2. Relay accurate messages from school council to their class.

3. Be as fair as possible and represent everyone’s views.

4. Be a good listener.

5. Organise a weekly class council meeting
6. Attend school council meetings.

Need schedule for cricket at break time and lunchtime.

lock for girls and boys toilets. Aniq to speak to Mr Spicer and ask about mirrors in boys toilets.

Longer ropes for skipping, to avoid tieing shorter ropes together.To ask Mrs Hadley.

Ideas years 4 and 5 had for the toilets:

. Broken hand dryesr need to be fixed.

. More soap is needed.

. Broken locks need to be fixed.

. People should stop hiding stuff in the toilets.

People want a key stage 2 disco.

Year 5 thoughts for Sports Relief:

.Two steps, jump.

. Run.

Playground notices:

. People always trip on the stone floor.

. There is missing equipment from huff and puff.

. We need something underneath outside school gates because small balls roll underneath.

we were thinking about raising funds for school and some ideas we had were:
. Foot ball tournaments.
. Book tournament.
. Movie night.
. Triva quiz.
Book quiz was suggested but had vgery few votes.
the charge for these events would be 50p to £1 for each person.

Soap has been replaced in the boy’s toilets again but the girls toilets still need addressing.
Martell is to talk to Mr Spicer to confirm whether they are in use or not.

I’m sure like to know that Mr Spicer has put automatic air freshners in the toilets which is something school council were asked about.
