Thank you again to parents for attending our craft workshop. It was a great session with lots of wonderful creations by the children and their parents.
In the Garden
Our new Half-term topic after the Easter holiday will be ‘In the Garden’.
We will be looking at life outside in the open air and exploring the natural world around us.
We hope to become nature detectives in our search for mini beasts as well as great gardeners by growing plants and vegetables.
In preparation please spend some time outside with your children and explore together, we would love to talk about your adventures when we return to school.

Morning Nursery role play
Today we used our role play area to visit a holiday home in the country. We prepared meals for each other then settled down in front of an open fire for stories and songs.

Afternoon Nursery at the library
Thank you to all our parents who took the time to join us for our afternoon Nursery session at Thimblemill library.
We really enjoyed listening to our storyteller, Gavin, and using our local library to borrow great books to take home.
Making Bread!
This week we have been making bread just like the Hen did in the traditional tale ‘The Little Red Hen.’
We have enjoyed measuring out the correct amounts of each ingredient we needed, mixing it altogether and kneading it, before baking it in the oven to create lovely bread.
