A new home for Rosie bear

Sadly, Rosie  lost her house in the strong winds last night. She was so upset when we found her this morning in the woodland.  We felt so sorry for Rosie that we decided to work together as a team to build her a brand new home.

Rosie loves her new home and is very grateful for your help!

Making a Tent Peg

This week we continued to make our tent peg.  A small number of us (due to health and safety)  got to whittle  the dark off our pegs and started to shape them into  a point.

Wild in the Woods by Shawon

This week in Wild in the Woods we have done some thrilling lessons. We have made pegs and used strings, there were a group people that were using pegs and another group of people using the strings. The people who were using the strings made a web.

I, Shawon, found a mysterious drawing on a log that was like aboriginal art. What was it?  Do you know?  If yes then tell us what it is.

Boat Making

Miss Thomas challeneged us to make a boat from materials found in the woodland and 1 metre of string. We worked in small teams to complete the task.   When the boats were completed we tested them in the pond.
